From Bitmoji to Spotify, apps that topped the demand list this year

Personal emojis, streaming music and video, maps and shopping are among the most popular app choices.

Apple recently released its year-end list of top US apps for iPhones and iPads. The apps Apple chose are the most popular of the year, meaning they are the apps that consistently topped the free apps chart in the App Store. While Facebook and Snapchat made it to the list, they didn’t feature in the top 10.
